    1. Hi Carla, that’s a great question and point about Parmesan cheese typically being an ingredient in pesto! On that recipe, we specify you buy a dairy free pesto from your grocery store. Hope this helps!

  1. The tropical mango pork calls for ghee. I don’t believe ghee is dairy free. It’s made from cow’s milk.

    1. It does come from a cow, but it typically causes no issues for those with intolerance to dairy because it has had all of the lactose and milk protein removed, so we occasionally include it in dairy-free recipes.

    2. Properly made ghee is “dairy-free” in that it is only the oil part of the butter and none of the lactose or other dairy-sensitive ingredients. Just be sure you have a really good quality ghee to start with…

  2. It is so awesome to have an entire month’s worth of meals that are dairy free for me to make! My lactose intolerant hubby and daughter are eating so much better now!

    1. Thanks so much for sharing this with us! <3 We are so happy to hear that your family has been better able to eat around their dietary needs and we truly wish you to know we are celebrating this success with you!
