1 bag of frozen peaches.

Directions

Bring water to a boil (just enough to cover).

  1. What if you have fresh fruit do you do the same? My husband works for a fruit packing house and we have tons and lots of time its starts to get to soft and then nobody eats its so I thought I could use those….???

    1. I am wondering about that too Becky. Peaches are in season right now and I would like to buy fresh ones. You can remove their skins by dropping them in boiling water for a minute then putting them in ice water, then peeling the skins. I guess you would then cut them up into pieces and follow the same recipe as above?

    2. Same way. I did all fresh fruits or veggies for my first baby. With all I boiled until soft and then put in blender and added enough water until it was the desired consistency. I bought a hand blender so it was easier for smaller batches.

  2. Does anyone know how long the fresh puree will last after freezing? With peaches being in season now, I’d like to get some made for my little guy who won’t be ready for this for a few more months….
