Sunday Salads: Summer Fruity Romaine Salad with Sweet Onion Poppy Seed Vinaigrette

On June 19, 2011 by Kelly

When I decided to embark on this Summer series I began it with this salad in mind. Yes, this salad is SO MEMORABLE that I decided to create a whole Summer series just so I could show it off. Sunday SaladsWell, that might be extreme. But, I definitely had this salad in mind from the beginning. This is a recipe from a dear friend. She would periodically bring this salad to our house church gatherings and eventually I begged her for the recipe. Of course, when I went to locate the recipe for this series I couldn’t find it. Figures. Good thing she is a “good” friend because she didn’t hesitate to give it to me a second time. So in an effort to guarantee that I never lose it again, I am writing it here, for all of you so that it lives in infamy. How is that for not forgetting?
