Cookies are the staple of any holiday season, right?! But especially Christmas cookies!
We love making holiday cookies because we love:
- Decorating Christmas cookies
- Christmas desserts
- School parties
- Cookies for Santa
- Neighborly gifts
- And sweet treats to store away in the freezer!
Well, it is that time of year again! Time to break out the KitchenAid mixers and get to some mass cookie making going on. (We all love a good cookie exchange right?!)
Whether it is for yourself, your friends, or simply Santa, cookies are a regular part of the holiday season. And if we can say it –– the Christmas spirit!

Join the discussionCan fruitcake cookies be frozen? And for how long?
Hi Susan, yes, you can absolutely freeze fruitcake cookies! They’re going to taste best if eaten within 3 months but they wouldn’t be unsafe to eat after that. They just might not taste quite as good.
